Start stop technology is a growing option in most manufactures. This technology allows the engine to shut of when stopped at a red light and starts the engine when the gas pedal is applied. The electrical systems involved along with the starting motor systems have different operating characteristics than what most techs are used to. We will cover what and why this is used along with the electrical operation of different manufactures systems and diagnostics of no crank faults.
