With the next evolution of the automobile upon us, we as technicians need to understand the operation and systems of the basic Electric Vehicle. In this class we look at the basic systems and what EV are all about. Knowing what kind of charging systems an important aspect to the EV world are, as customers will have multiple choices when charging. We will look at the differences in the chargers and connectors used across manufactures and countries. In this class we will have an overview of battery, motor systems and brake systems, different manufactures use different systems and technology is always changing. Follow-up classes will go into detail of servicing these Systems.
